Bartók-koncert Sebestyén Mártával és Anzsela Tosevával Szófiában

Marta Sebestyen, singer, UNESCO Artist for Peace and Anzsela Toseva, pianist performed Bela Bartok’s compositions in the Hungarian Institute (Sofia) on 10 October, 2012.

Doncsev Toso, the director of the Hungarian Institute said that the idea of the concert had been inspired by the collection of Gabor Kovacs on the 20th century’s Hungarian modernist paintings exhibited in the Bulgarian National Gallery. (Tesova won the Liszt-Bartok International PIano Competition in Budapest in 1989.) The exhibition hosts masterpieces from well-known artists such as Tivadar Csontvary-Koszta, Istvan Csok, and Jozsef Egry.

Marta Sebestyen had another concert on 11 October, performing Romanian, Bulgarian, and Hungarian folk songs together with Nikolaj Ivanov, etho jazz musician.
